Bedford Town ended an extraordinary season with a victory over Stourbridge that secured the Southern League Premier Central title.
Tipped for relegation at the start of the campaign, Lee Bircham’s boys kept proving everyone wrong along the way.
Three points in front of Kettering Town at the start of the day, but with an inferior goal difference, Bedford only needed a point against an in-form Stourbridge.
Goals from Ryan Blake and Jack Davies earned the home side a 2-0 win and the points needed to be crowned champions.
