■ROMFORD earned another point in their battle against relegation against fellow strugglers Aveley.
The visitors took the lead when the linesman wrongly gave a thrown to Aveley and after it was taken quickly and crossed, Alex Teniola rose highest to head home.
Romford finally grabbed an equaliser with three minutes left when Ayo Olukoga fired home after Aveley failed to clear Harry Daly’s shot. Both teams had chances to win it in injury time but a draw was probably a fair result for two struggling sides.
