MALDON and Tiptree’s incredible unbeaten run finally came to an end after the Jammers were defeated 2-1 at home by playoff chasing Tilbury.
Wayne Brown’s side hadn’t tasted defeat in any of their 15 league games heading into the weekend, but came unstuck after a late William Cracknell own goal sealed their fate at the Wallace Binder Ground.
Laste Dombaxe had opened the scoring for the hosts six minutes after the break with his first league goal of the season, before Thomas Barton levelled matters for the Dockers.
