THAME United eased past Biggleswade Town in the Southern League Central Division to move off the foot of the table.
The hosts showed all the signs of a side desperate to move away from relegation trouble and take advantage of Kempston Rovers’ disappointing form. That failed to see the deadlock broken in the first half, however, with the visitors remaining firm and forcing United into the break level at 0-0.
