■ A GOAL in each half from left-back Jack Walters gave North Ferriby their second away win in five days to lift them into the play-off places.
But the Villagers were grateful to goalkeeper Ben Bottomley for a string of fine saves as they pulled off a smash-and-grab win at mid-table Consett.
The home side fell behind after 29 minutes when Walters opened the scoring with the visitors’ first attempt on goal, firing past Harry Moss at his near post.
