EMLEY lost more ground on the top two as they drew with mid-table Bishop Auckland yesterday afternoon.
Laurence Sorhaindo could have given the Pewits a very early lead when a low drive from captain Alex Metcalfe was deflected into his path, but it was well saved by Jack Norton in the Bishop Auckland goal.
The visitors took the lead in the 62nd minute when Gary Martin profited on a bit of misfortune as goalkeeper Declan Lamberton’s attempted clearance came off the forward and looped into an empty net.
