WGC had the better of the opening stages and took the lead in 11 minutes through debutant Nick Ralfe, on loan from St Albans.
But midway through the half, the tables turned as Thame struck quickly twice with Ty Deacon and Dan West, tapping in chances created by the outstanding Brayley Daniel, for the Oxfordshire visitors to lead 2-1at half-time.
