DEANE Smalley’s stoppage-time equaliser rescued a late point for Avro in a see-saw draw with Stalybridge.
Two first half goals from Max Leonard either side of a Liam Ellis strike saw Stalybridge head into the break ahead but it was a rejuvinated second-half performance from Avro that turned the game on it’s head.
The hosts were reduced to ten men on the hour mark after a controversial red card for Kane Hickman, who was adjudged to have gone into the tackle with both feet.
