VAUXHALL Motors took full advantage of playing on Friday night to reclaim second place as they won 2-0at Hanley Town.
It had been a busy week for the hosts as just 24 hours earlier, Tom McGrew was appointed chairman following the resignation of Ron McIlreavy.
Nick Rushton gave them the lead just seven minutes before the break when he slotted into an empty net after Connor Rankin’s initial effort had been saved by Adam Whitehouse.
