STAFFORD moved to within two points of safety after beating fellow relegation candidates Wythenshawe.
The Rangers had a bit of fortune when taking the lead after just seven minutes when Wythenshawe defender Andy Keogh turned Mike McGrath’s shot past his goalkeeper Kyle Haslam.
They doubled their lead just before the half-time break when loanee Zidan Sutherland cut inside and fired the ball into the bottom right corner from just inside the box.
