EXMOUTH Town grabbed the only goal of a crucial promotion playoffrace contest against Mousehole, leaving them five points behind leaders Yate Town and, crucially, nine clear of their vanquished hosts.
The incredible efforts of the groundstaffat Trungle Parc went unrewarded by the home side. Just two weeks ago, the pitch resembled a field more suited for potato farming than football, but now it looked in fine condition.
