■ AFC Rushden & Diamonds responded to a 2-1defeat by Coventry Sphinx with a win against the same opponents in the next game.
Sphinx goalkeeper Charlie Woods saved a penalty in both games but the Diamonds had more in reserve on this occasion and came back to win thanks to two late goals. Harry Wakefield forced the ball over the line to give the home side the lead in the middle of the first half but Rushden equalised with five minutes left when Jarvis Wilson nodded in from a Jamal Adams flick-on.
