THE visitors eased to victory to compound relegation-threatened Rugby’s woes.
Wellingborough took a 22nd-minute lead when Jessie Obeng slipped in the debuting Tyler Winters to score with a crisp, low strike.
Shortly before that, Doughboys goalkeeper Ash Body-cote did well to tip Harrison Nee’s header over, but George Barnell’s near-post header to Danny Draper’s corner doubled the advantage.
