■ EASTBOURNE Town were clinical as they won away at Steyning Town Community.
In the seventh minute, James Waters bundled over Robert Malila in an aerial challenge and gave Eastbourne the lead at the second attempt.
The nearest the hosts came to a first-half equaliser was a header from Lucas Murrain from a left-wing cross.
