■ BOTTOM-OF-THE TABLE North Leigh fought hard to earn a point against playoff-chasing Welwyn Garden City.
WGC drew first blood. After a plethora of Lewis Taaffe half-chances went begging, Brad Wadkins made sure he was a little more decisive as he latched onto a fine Layne Eadie cross from the left to break the deadlock.
In the second half, the visitors had a golden chance to double their advantage. Zuriel Otseh-Taiwo crossed for Wadkins,
but his header smashed off the crossbar and out.
