CINDERFORD looked past their position at the foot of the league, as they beat Shaftesbury The hosts took the lead in the first half from the spot after Shaftesbury goalkeeper Shane Murphy was penalised for a foul.
Alex Bonthron stepped up and showed great precision to smash in his penalty.
Marley Thomas doubled the Cinderford lead. From the left of the area, he fired a well-placed effort over Murphy and into the top-right corner: Luke Burbidge did manage to get a goal back for the visitors, yet this was overshadowed by Ronan Moore's red card.
