SWIFT SETTLES SIX-POINTER

MILDENHALL beat fellow struggling side Wroxham to claim a vital three points. For most of the first half Mildenhall had the lion’s share of possession but didn’t really trouble Tom Coome in goal, whilst Wroxham’s attacking play was lacklustre and they only had two shots on goal which were easily saved. Mildenhall took the lead in the 19th minute when the ball deflected off Harvey Peters and into his own net.
Mildenhall increased their lead after the break as Ryan Swift received the ball from the right wing and beat Coome with a smart finish.
