■ LEADERS Yate came from behind to defeat lowly Thatcham at the Mettal Stadium.
After an even opening, the Kingfishers struck after 25 minutes when Josiah Dunstan poked home after Yate failed to clear a corner.
The visitors almost levelled immediately as Nick McCootie smacked a 20-yarder against the post. Yate pressed forward in the second half and were awarded a contentious penalty as goalkeeper Matt Pullinger was adjudged to have brought down Lucas Tomlinson. McCootie’s spot-kick levelled the scores.
