■ DUNSTON picked up their third home win in eight days to maintain pressure on the top two.
The hosts looked strong from the start and they took an early lead in the eighth minute when Dale Pearson latched onto a through ball by Harvey Neary and calmly slotted the ball past Aleks Petrovic into a corner.
Pearson almost notched again before half-time when he volleyed narrowly wide. Ossett nearly levelled on the hour-mark when Oli Johnson struck a shot which cannoned back off a post.
