■ THE contest between play-off chasing sides Newton Aycliffe and Garforth Town’s game ended in a routine victory for the home side.
The first half saw Liam Jarvie for Aycliffe initially denied from close range and Jarvie then hit a shot high, thus the first half ended goalless, despite both teams showing high work rate in the midfield.
