■ A THREE-GOAL blast in the opening 20 minutes set Consett up for their best win of the season so far.
They took the lead after eight minutes when David Allasan played in Donny Holdsworth and he finished expertly into the far corner.
Five minutes the Steel-men doubled their lead. Jake Orrell’s pass picked out Allasan, who brought the ball down and rifled in.
