■ IT WAS stalemate at Hayden Road as Diamonds and Warwick cancelled each other out.
Both sides worked hard with defences very much on top and neither side able to build momentum.
Diamonds shaded the first half with Fraser Corden and Ethan Johnston firing in a brace of decent efforts but Warwick had the first decent chance, Callum Coyle nearly converting Max Mcnulty’s pull back. Diamonds responded through a Johnston blocked effort and then came closest as Jamal Adams headed wide from close range.
