■ HONOURS were even at Mayfield Stadium as Croydon came from behind to earn a draw in a game full of missed chances.
Mark Goldson gave Broadbridge Heath the lead in the 20th minute, with the Croydon keeper making key saves to keep them in the game. Akanbi’s equaliser for Croydon came after a defensive error left him with time to finish.
Croydon had opportunities to take the lead, with Kadell Daniel, Josh Bayliss, and Luke Dreher all denied by solid defending.
