■STOTFOLD eased further clear of the drop zone after holding promotion-chasing Thame United.
Patrick Matejko fired the home side in front against the run of play in the 38th minute but their advantage was short-lived.
Thame United redressed the balance a minute before the break after Leo Galpin’s free-kick took a deflection.
The visitors took the lead in first-half stoppage time when a delicate flick-on by Ty Deacon was controlled brilliantly by Jack Tutton before firing past the goalkeeper.
