RAMSGATE battled to an uneventful victory at home to Broadbridge in windy conditions.
A Roarie Deacon strike after 20 minutes was all that separated the two sides after a clever back-heel from Joe Taylor.
Broadbridge offered little with the exception of an effort from distance that flew over the bar.
The Rams nearly doubled their advantage after 28 minutes when Alfie Paxman played Taylor through, and his shot across the goalkeeper struck the base of the post.
