■ THIS contest was effectively decided by half-time with two red cards for Heaton Stannington.
Leighton Hopper was the first to see red in the 12th minute following a harsh challenge. Aycliffe made the man advantage count when Jake Petitjean poached a goal in a crowded box.
Liam Adamson volleyed a second after Jack Clarkson had his effort saved by goalkeeper Lewis Brass, before Brass was dismissed after a verbal dispute with the referee.
