■ FLACKWELL Heath were held to a frustrating draw by Welwyn Garden.
In the ninth minute, goalkeeper Joe Welch found Layne Eadie with a long ball. He then crossed for Lewis Jones, but he could only fire straight at Carl Dennison.
After this, Flackwell’s attack of Makowski and Shakespeare looked threatening, yet Welch was strong in fine one-on-one action.
Seven minutes later, the Heathens could’ve had an opener in a crowded box, yet a fine block in the chaos saved a certain goal.
