■ BIGGLESWADE won a seven-goal Bedfordshire derby thriller at Stotfold.
Amazingly, it took 32 minutes for the first goal to arrive, Lawrie Marsh giving FC the lead with a header, but their lead lasted only four minutes as Remell Stirling restored parity with a neat finish for Stotfold.
Temi Akinbusoye restored Biggleswade’s lead with a penalty on the stroke of half-time after Marsh was fouled, and Rafal Wielblad doubled their lead soon after the resumption.
