EVESHAM United moved back to the top of the Southern League South One table after they eventually saw off a brave defensive effort from Didcot Town in front of an enthusiastic crowd of over 500.
A combination of Didcot goalkeeper Leigh Bedwell and full-back Cameron Mc-Neill produced a brilliant goal-line clearance to deny one early chance, before Bedwell tipped over a goal-bound strike from Amer Awadh.
