■ WARE were worthy winners of a poor local derby which was affected by very windy conditions.
Ware’s opening goal was disputed, Theo Ofori netting following a Gucci Soulya-Osekanongo break from a seemingly offside position. Despite WGC protests, the goal stood.
Ex-WGC man Soulya-Osekanongo had a chance of a second but he lifted his effort over the bar with home keeper Welch beaten.
