MARGATE continued their winning run into the play offs next Tuesday with a hard fought win against Ashford United.
Resting or benching seven players to give time to squad members, the hosts were under the cosh by the visitors but the defence, superbly led by Tyrone Sterling (playing his last game after 708 non-league appearances), repelled everything.
