IN front of a crowd of 388 at Bickland Park, Falmouth Town completed their first season with a 2-1 victory.
Because Shaftesbury were delayed in traffic due to a serious road accident in Dorset, the kick off was delayed by two hours. That did not stop the visitors take the lead when Leighton Thomas found the back of the net in the 37th minute. The hosts piled on the pressure after the interval and their efforts were rewarded when leading scorer Rubin Wilson levelled after 55 minutes.
