WELWYN closed their season with a resounding win that only heaped more misery on already relegated Kidlington.
The Citizens, who hadn’t won in six games themselves, broke a scoring duck that had lasted 360 minutes in the 14th minute, when recalled full-back Jed Ejjayha turned in a low cross from Lewis Jones, following a Matty Whichelow free-kick.
WGC doubled their lead four minutes from the break, Zuriel Otseh-Taiwo’s low cross from the right saw Charlie McDonald squeeze in a stooping header for 2-0.
