SPORTING KHALSA got their season off to the perfect start with a deserved victory against last season’s play-off finalists Congelton Town.
The home side took the lead with their first opportunity after a scuffed effort from Kieron Whittaker found its way into the bottom corner.
Khalsa doubled their lead when Kartell Dawkins squeezed in a effort at the near post.
On the half hour mark Congelton respond with a bullet header from Richard Duffy.
