JACK Sayell netted a brace as Leighton Town recorded a resounding win on the opening day of the new season.
The home side dominated proceedings from start to finish at the Freed Veneers Community Stadium to sink their Hertfordshire opponents.
A Kyal Williams corner found Luke Pyman, whose effort came back off the woodwork, only for Sayell to tap home the rebound in the opening ten minutes.
The hosts doubled their lead later when Williams found the back of the net from a few yards out.
