■ BIDEFORD continued their strong start to the season with a dominant win over Melksham Town, controlling the game from the first whistle to the last. They started brightly, with Finn Roberts hitting a post after just three minutes, and Javan Wright forcing a save from Adam Forster soon after.
Melksham’s only shot on target came early but posed no trouble for Shaun Semmens.
Scott Robertson, Wright, and Jamie Hearsey were all denied by Forster, but in first-half stoppage time, Wright was fouled in the box and Roberts coolly converted the penalty...
