■ SOUTHALL outplayed Met Police to underline their status as the form team in the league.
Dan Roberts put the visitors ahead inside two minutes from the penalty spot.
Met were clearly shaken and the continued press and movement from a lively Southall side kept Met on the backfoot for the first 25 minutes.
A Met corner was cleared from the visitors’ penalty area and Anthony O’Connor – who harried the beleaguered home defence throughout – finished off a fine counter-attack to double their lead.
