■ THE Sparks claimed victory in a highly entertaining game.
The Met should have taken an early lead, but Jamal Sharpe failed to make the most of two good chances. The Sparks broke the deadlock in the 19th minute through Ross Stepney’s towering header from Dam Moody’s corner.
Two minutes later, Sharpe levelled the scores, but parity was short lived as Moody’s free-kick was converted by Hayden Gale’ glancing header.
