■ RAYNERS Lane remain bottom of the table, but they closed the gap on the teams above them with a narrow win against fellow strugglers AFC Dunstable.
The visitors should have been comfortably ahead in the opening half, but they missed two gilt-edged chances, Gabriel Adelowo and Tommy Blennerhassett both firing over from close range after fine saves by Charlie Patmore.
Lane might have scored with a diving header, but it was off target.
