ONE GOAL proved the difference in an entertaining game that saw Mossley win at Newcastle.
The hosts went close early on when a Joel Jones stabbed the ball wide of the post.
Neither side could take charge but Castle felt they were hard done by when Jones was brought down in the box only for their appeals were waved away.
Mossley goalkeeper Fin Madigan collided with the post after denying Jones, but was able to carry on after lengthy treatment.
