AFTER 41 years at Hitchin Town, it’s very difficult for me to choose my greatest achievement or a standout moment.
As a player, it would probably be beating Hereford in the FA Cup in 1994. They were a Football League side then, with the future Aston Villa manager Dean Smith at centre-half.
We drew the first game at their place, live on Sky Sports. This was the early days of Sky, and to see Andy Gray analysing our goals a few days after he’d been talking about Manchester United was amazing. ...
