Northern Premier League East fixtures announced

NPL Premier

Bradford Park Avenue host 2015 FA Trophy winners North Ferriby on the opening day in NPL East.

PA have suffered back-to-back relegations while Ferriby finished 8th last season, their first at this level since reforming in 2019.

Dunston meet Pontefract Collieries in a repeat of last season’s play-off semi-final. Dunston won that tie 2-0 before losing at Stockton Town in the final five days later.

Bishop Auckland celebrate their return to Step 4 at home to Stocksbridge Park Steels.

It’s the Two Blues’ first match at this level since 2006 having won Northern League Division One as champions.

They’re one of five sides promoted to NPL East. Three of them are home – Garforth Town face Liversedge, Heaton Stannington play Belper Town and Sherwood Colliery host Consett.

Emley, who won Northern Counties East League last season, are on the road for their opener. They travel to Grimsby Borough.

Bridlington Town open against Carlton Town with sides experiencing different fortunes last season – Bridlington avoided relegation by a point while Carlton reached the play-offs.

Reprieved Brighouse Town are away to Cleethorpes Town on the opening day.

The remaining games see Ossett United face Ashington and Sheffield host Newton Aycliffe.
