Table-topping Leighton Town were blown away by a stunning five-star performance from Hitchin Town at a fervent Top Field.
Before this game Leighton were unbeaten in the league all season with 14 wins and 5 draws and had only conceded 15 goals.
But they had no answer to Hitchin’s best performance of the season.
Match action
It took just 10 minutes for Hitchin to take the lead as Lewis Franklin scored a brilliant goal from 25 yards leaving keeper Daniel Hosier clutching thin air.
