FC Romania owner Ion Vintila admits the club’s existence is hanging by a thread as he desperately searches for a last-gasp financial saviour.
The Hertfordshire-based Step 5 side have been seeking funds to carry on playing in the Spartan South Midlands Premier next season but Vintila, who founded the Wolves back in 2006, says with time almost up, it’s now or never for the club’s mere survival.
“It’s a sad situation, the club is really close to being finished, we are just praying someone can save us,” he told The NLP.
