Step 5 new boys Abbey Hulton United have landed a major summer coup by picking up former Premier League defender Carl Dickinson.
The 38-year-old arrives at the Midland League newcomers having twice won the title, as player-manager at Hanley Town and then at Congleton Town.
Abbey Hulton are preparing for their first ever season at Step 5 having gained promotion through the North West Counties League Division One South play-offs last season.
They were placed into the Midland League in the summer allocations.
