In the second game of the league’s 2025 groundhop, evergreen Craig Westcarr hit four goals for Sherwood Colliery in their 5-1 drubbing of hosts Gresley Rovers in Premier North.
In front of a bumper attendance of 597 for yesterday’s 11.30am kick off, 40-year-old former Nottingham Forest and Notts County forward Westcarr gave the visitors the lead from the penalty spot after 13 minutes and converted another spot-kick in the 27th minute, again after Jacon Pearce had been fouled in the box.
