THERE may have been Champions League action on TV last night, but showed that quality still exists much further down the footballing ladder.

The Whites showed great technique to create a chance for striker Ricky Miller who duly obliged by finishing brilliantly.

An overhead ball into the box by Stefan Payne was wonderfully flicked on by Ricky Modeste, and Miller’s left-footed volley from the edge of the penalty area flew past keeper Jon Worsnop to give Dover the lead.

Ross Hannah would go on to score an equaliser for Chester and the game finished 1-1 to move Dover up to third in the .

While much was made of Barcelona’s play during their 6-1 demolition of Italian side Roma, even Messi and co would have been proud of this one!
