FORMER Harriers captain Keith Briggs has returned to Aggborough.

The 30-year-old skippered the Harriers in 2010/11 before joining their then Blue Square Bet Premier rivals Fleetwood Town.

He was limited to just eight starts for the eventual league champions last term and was subsequently released by the Cod Army.

The former Stockport, Mansfield and Stalybridge man has now re-signed for Kiddy and their boss is happy to welcome him back.

Speaking to the club’s website, Burr said: “We have beaten off a fair few Conference clubs to bring Keith back here and he will give us some real experience in the middle of the park.

“He’s been here before, knows the place well and didn’t really want to leave so he’s really pleased to be back.

“It’s a good signing for us.”
