FOREST GREEN ROVERS have signed Hitchin Town striker Zak Burke on loan.
The 23-year-old started his career with Stevenage and featured a couple of times for Boro in the Conference Premier before leaving Broadhall Way to join Hitchin in the summer of 2009.
He has since made over 120 appearances for the Canaries and has been in fine form in recent weeks, contributing with assists and goals, with the highlight being a hat-trick against Wingate & Finchley in late October.
Burke is contracted to the Top Field outfit but his loan move to the New Lawn is with a view to a permanent move once the transfer window opens in January.
