Alfreton Town Sharpen Up By Loaning A Blade

Sheffield United midfielder Matthew Harriott will spend the next month on loan at Alfreton Town.

SHEFFIELD UNITED midfielder Matthew Harriott will spend the next month on loan at Alfreton Town.

The 20-year-old came through the Luton Town youth system before joining the Blades in August 2010.

He featured for their first team in January 2011 and has since figured on a further four occasions.

Harriott joined Burton Albion loan at the back end of last season and has now been sent out for a second loan spell away from Bramall Lane.

He will remain with Alfreton until December 9, 2012, but has not been given permission to represent the Reds in The FA Cup.
